The registration process for a company in Nepal involves several steps, including:

  • reserving the company name at the Office of the Company Registrar (OCR)
  • submitting physical copies of the required documents at OCR
  • and having the documents examined by OCR.
  • Once the examination is complete, the OCR will issue the Incorporation Certificate.

To register a company in Nepal, the required documents include

  • an application
  • two copies of the Memorandum of Association
  • two copies of the Article of Association
  • attested copies of the shareholders’ citizenship certificates
  • and a copy of the agreement made among the founder members before the establishment of the company for public companies.
  • For private companies, a copy of the unanimous agreement is required, if any.
